The SUV market is HOT. Toyota looked at their SUV lineup and saw a bit of a missing gap since the departure of the old Venza so they did what they need to do, dress up the Rav4 with prettier clothing thus the Venza was born. Based on the Rav4 the Venza isn’t any faster nor economical but it is fancier, almost as fancy as the Lexus NX300h but since it’s based on the current Rav4 this is actually better and it cost less.
