The 2020 Mercedes Benz CLA has grown up and is now much better than the previous model. Based on the A-class this all-wheel-drive sedan features a 2.0L turbocharged four that makes 221hp. Good for a 0-100km/h(62mph) time of 6.3 seconds while still getting 10.2L/100km(23MPG) in the city. ⁠ ⁠ ⁠

Here are some fast facts about the CLA250. With a base price of $43,000 Canadian and can be optioned to over $60,000 this isn’t a “Cheap” option but it sure is pretty. ⁠ ⁠

The front seat room is similar to that found in the A-class Sedan and Hatch while the rear seats get reduced headroom thanks to the sloping roofline. But because it’s longer than that of the A-class sedan it has a larger trunk. ⁠ ⁠

On the road, the CLA is good, not M-car great but good in its own pace. The 2L turbo 4 pulls hard and the 7-speed dual-clutch shifts quick but can be a bit dim-witted in the city. ⁠It would be cool to see how the 2-series GranCoupe will compare. ⁠

Overall if you’re looking for a small sedan that’s quick and looks amazing the CLA is a great choice. Just make sure you got deep enough pockets to get all the options you want. ⁠
